Title: Growth curve models and their applications in signal processing

Abstract: Growth curve (GC) model was first proposed for investigating 
growth problems in the statistics field. It was extended and 
used in the signal processing field widely. In this talk, I will 
give an introduction of the conventional growth curve model, and then 
present its two variations, i.e., diagonal growth curve  (DGC) model 
and block diagonal growth curve  (BDGC) model. Some examples of these 
growth curve models in the signal processing field will also be 
introduced.
